Change of School Uniform from the Academic Session 2012-13

Dear Parents,

  • On the eve of its Golden Jubilee year, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has collaborated with the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India to review its present uniform. Consequently it has been decided that the new uniform would come to effect from the Academic Session 2012-13 in July.
  • Students who are newly admitted in any class should not get their uniforms stitched till it is finalized.
  • The old & new uniforms may continue to be in vogue simultaneously during the transition period. The old ones may be weaned out of use within a period of 2 years i.e. by July 2014.
